Literature Love - Celebrating Harry Potter & Shelf Styling with Suburban Crunchy Girl
"Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light." - Albus Dumbledore
Inspiration can tend to come in some very unique ways. When we collaborated with Andie who has the visually beautiful lifestyle, travel, & fashion blog Suburban Crunchy Girl, she had an incredible idea that we were so thrilled to have our pieces incorporated into. With July being the birth month of J.K. Rowling and her famous character Harry Potter, it was only fitting that we celebrated with our own homage to the incredible series.
Andie so effortlessly blended some of our custom monogram pieces into her famous "shelfies" where she takes gorgeous florals & beautifully bound books to create absolute visual magic. Keep reading to see where she gets her inspiration, why this shoot in particular was so special to her, & what she loves about her Sasha Nicholas pieces.
For those who are true Harry Potter fans, you'll notice that we decided to include custom monogrammed pieces that coordinated in colors to represent the four houses in the series - Green for Slytherin, Gold for Gryffindor, Navy for Ravenclaw & Black for Hufflepuff.

More about Andie from Suburban Crunchy Girl - "I am a suburban girl that loves high fashion and grabbing yummy food at the local farmer’s market or farm stand. This is my journey to find balance between being a hippy and being chic. There is a bit about travel, a few recipes, a little about health, and a lot about designer handbags, shoes, and my trips to find the best locally sourced foods around. And well there will be some hilarious posts as I try to figure out things like making butter and yogurt (all while drinking of course). I hope that you will join me on this journey!"
